What makes a NEW window efficient?

Energy-efficiency is the greatest benefit of window replacement.  Our new windows at EcoView Window and Doors control your home’s temperature more consistently, ultimately reducing energy bills and making everyday living more comfortable.

EcoView Windows and Doors proudly offers Energy Star rated windows manufactured by ENERGY STAR® Partner companies.   The ENERGY STAR® program certifies replacement products like windows and doors to ensure the environment is protected while keeping homeowner’s energy costs low.  In order to earn the ENERGY STAR® label, the product undergoes a series of evaluations to determine how well energy is saved based on strict guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Choosing ENERGY STAR® products can save a household nearly $600 on energy bills each year.  This is significant savings considering the average household spends approximately $1,900 each year on energy alone.

Cardinal LowE 366 Glass with Argon Gas

  • The largest exposed surface of a window is the glass which directly affects the temperature of a room.  Two panes of insulated glass triple coated with LowE and filled with argon gas, this glass package lifts the performance threshold to a new level.
  • LowE 366 is a clear coating that blocks even more solar gain, reflects heat, and lets the light stream in. It even outperforms the tinted glass often used in warm climates like Texas.  Ordinary glass cannot handle the heat when temperatures soar, and tinted glass darkens the view.  Plus, the superior insulating capability is a key for cold months as well.  LoowE 366 the ultimate performance glass, with energy savings throughout the year, in every part of the country.
  • LowE 366 glass also provides fading protection blocking 95% of the sun’s damaging ultraviolet rays.  This high performance glass package protects your furniture, carpets, curtains and wall coverings for years to come.

Super Spacer®â€¯

  • The spacer is critical to the efficiency and lifetime of your window.  The technology is a dual-seal system with one of the best Argon resistant bondline adhesives that keep the Argon gas in your window longer. This technology blocks heat and cold from passing through the window system, and the tight bond results in lower U-Values and higher energy savings.  It lasts up to five times longer than single-seal systems. Say goodbye to broken seals and lost efficiency with the best spacer on the market.

Vinyl Frame

  • Vinyl window frames are the top choice for an efficient window.  Designed and constructed with multiple chambers in the frame, vinyl windows provide thermal efficiency, rigidity and strength without excessive weight.  Drafty windows can increase electric bills 10-25%, but new insulating vinyl frames can keep your home’s efficiency in control.
  • Vinyl is a superior insulator because heat does not efficiently transfer through the frame. The multi-chambered design ensures they can handle excessive levels of heat. Vinyl does not conduct heat like an aluminum frame and the hollow chambers reduce conduction even further.  This is very important in Texas when the sun heats up the exterior side of the frame, but the interior side stays cool.  Plus, in the winter, vinyl frames help keep the heat inside to enjoy!

EcoView Windows and Doors also offers additional glass packages like foam filled frames, triple pane glass, dissimilar glass, laminated glass, suntitive glass, and much more!  Schedule your free window consultation today to learn more! Whether you're living in the scenic Wellington neighborhood, tucked away near Lake Grapevine, or enjoying a family-friendly home in Bridlewood, first impressions matter. One of the most impactful and underrated ways to enhance the beauty and value of your home is through professional window installation . As a local expert in window installation and replacement , We’ve helped dozens of Flower Mound homeowners completely transform the exterior look of their homes while also increasing energy efficiency and long-term resale value. Let’s dive into how this single home improvement can change the way your property is perceived, and how it performs. Why Window Installation in Flower Mound Makes a Difference Unlike smaller cosmetic upgrades, new windows immediately change how your home looks from the street. Faded, outdated, or damaged windows send the wrong signal about upkeep and can bring down the visual harmony of an otherwise lovely home. When homeowners invest in window installation in Flower Mound , they notice an immediate improvement in their property’s style and symmetry. Homes in neighborhoods like Canyon Falls and The River Walk benefit tremendously from upgraded vinyl windows that align with the home’s design aesthetic. Whether you’re aiming for a clean modern appearance or a more classic look, new windows set the tone for the entire property. Real Flower Mound Success Stories One recent installation we completed in the Lakeside DFW area involved replacing old wood windows with sleek black vinyl frames featuring Cardinal LoE 452+ Glass with Argon Gas. The homeowner wanted something to match their new modern exterior and landscaping, and the transformation was incredible. Neighbors noticed immediately, and within weeks, the home was featured in a local real estate newsletter as a prime example of smart curb appeal upgrades. In another home near Shadow Ridge Middle School, we replaced cracked aluminum windows with energy-efficient vinyl units using Enviroseal NXT™ and Super Spacer® technology. The family reported not only a cooler home interior but compliments from friends and visitors who thought the home looked "completely refreshed."
